Jr. QA Automation (API) - Bangalore, India

Role Overview

Zimperium is an industry leader in enterprise mobile security, providing a complete mobile threat defense system. We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 1-3 years of experience who views security as "understanding how systems truly work." This role requires a unique blend of automation expertise and a security analyst mindset to build frameworks, perform vulnerability assessments, and conduct Mobile threat defense Application and SDK testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for Web and API applications to support sprint goals.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track software defects in Jira.
• Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test documentation.
• Assist in integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidance.
• Communicate testing progress and blockers to team members clearly.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., REST Assured or Postman).
• Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
