Software Engineer Product Builder | Immediate Hire | Multiple positions

Role Overview

zMed is a healthcare technology platform powering ICUs, operating rooms, and wards with real-time vitals streaming, clinical charting, and AI-assisted documentation. We are looking for Software Product Builders who want to own a product from initial idea to bedside deployment in a modern SaaS environment using FHIR R4, micro-frontends, and AI-native workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take a product idea from concept, design, and build to live deployment in a hospital.
• Build across the full stack of a modern SaaS/web platform, including UI, APIs, and data.
• Work directly with doctors, nurses, and hospital teams to turn feedback into shipped improvements.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools as a core part of the development process.

Requirements

• A software engineering education (CS/IT or equivalent) OR healthcare domain know-how (nursing, clinical pharmacy, biomedical engineering, or hospital operations).
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Understanding of SaaS/web application architecture.
• Passion for product development and user impact.
• High integrity, mental grit, and the ability to think clearly under pressure.
• Must be able to work full-time from the office in Bengaluru.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to React, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or medical devices.
• Personal side projects that have been built and shipped.
