AI Engineer

Role Overview

Zonov.ai is an AI-powered healthcare operations company building intelligent solutions for hospitals, multi-specialty clinics, and enterprise healthcare networks. We are looking for a motivated and technically strong AI Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of AI-powered healthcare solutions. This position is open to freshers and candidates with 0–1 years of experience who have strong practical knowledge through academic projects, internships, or personal projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML solutions for real-world healthcare use cases.
• Build and optimize Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Develop AI agents, chatbots, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Work with Python, Machine Learning, NLP, and relevant AI frameworks.
• Work with LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Prepare, clean, and process data for AI/ML applications.
• Develop and integrate AI services using REST APIs, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Test, debug, evaluate, and improve AI models and applications.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Assist with deploying and maintaining AI applications in development and production environments.
• Research and implement new AI technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to convert business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable Python code and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow is preferred.
• Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
• Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of deployment, Docker, or cloud platforms is a plus.
