QA Engineer / Tester

Role Overview

Adroit is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications through structured testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in functional, regression, and API testing, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing for web applications.
• Prepare, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects using proper bug reporting practices.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing before releases.
• Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Verify business workflows and application functionality against requirements.
• Participate in UAT, release validation, and production sanity testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers and business teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Ensure application quality across multiple browsers and devices.
• Maintain testing documentation and execution reports.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
