Job Description
Role Overview
The Cloud Engineer will work full-time on-site at Pune, collaborating with internal teams and clients in the energy sector. This is a long-term key position for the company.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, deploying, and managing robust and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Assessing client requirements, recommending appropriate cloud architectures, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure for IoT, analytics, and product development workloads.
- Automate deployments, ensure system security, monitor performance, and optimize costs.
- Travel to client site for hardware/software deployments, as needed.
Requirements
- Must: Strong communication skills.
- Must: Familiarity with software development for cloud environments, including APIs, microservices, and DevOps best-practices.
- Python and Bash programming required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Software development – both cloud and desktop-based apps – using Python, Java, or similar.
