Laravel PHP Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Laravel PHP developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP and Laravel, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications. The candidate should also be comfortable using AI tools to improve development productivity, debugging, documentation, research, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.
• Develop and maintain database structures, queries, and relationships using MySQL.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with web interfaces.
• Use AI tools effectively for coding assistance, debugging, code optimization, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Good understanding of MVC architecture.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database concepts.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
