Junior Java Developer

Role Overview

This is a remote internship role for a Junior Java Developer. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing Java-based applications under the guidance of senior developers. The role involves participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues while learning industry best practices for software development, version control, and agile workflows.

Requirements

• Foundational skills in Programming and Java
• Skills in Software Development and Microservices
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework and related Java technologies
• Understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented principles
• Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and work collaboratively in a remote team environment
• Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic knowledge of web technologies is beneficial
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to take ownership and be accountable
