Python Intern

Role Overview

As a Python Intern at CosmoQuick, you will support the development and enhancement of platform features using Python-based tools and frameworks. You will assist in writing clean, reusable code, building and testing scripts or APIs, and troubleshooting bugs under the guidance of experienced engineers. This internship role is remote, allowing you to contribute from your preferred location while participating in virtual stand-ups, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing clean, reusable code and building/testing scripts or APIs.
• Troubleshoot bugs under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze data and automate workflows.
• Improve internal tools that power the marketplace experience.

Requirements

• Foundational Python programming skills, including working with data structures, functions, and modules.
• Basic experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals such as debugging, testing, and code documentation.
• Exposure to web technologies or APIs (e.g., HTTP requests, JSON handling) is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
