Role Overview

This role involves designing, developing, and executing quality assurance strategies to validate software enhancements and new products, ensuring product quality across systems such as networking, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains test cases, test scripts, and test data for system and subsystem validation.
- Executes system, functional, regression, integration, and basic performance tests for assigned modules.
- Identifies logs, tracks and verifies defects; collaborates with development teams to support timely resolution.
- Participates in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability and quality coverage.
- Validates fixes and conducts impact analysis to prevent regression issues.
- Contributes to test automation efforts and continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
- Collaborates with internal and outsourced partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Networking certification (e.g. CCNA).
- Understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and defect life cycle management.
- Familiarity with manual testing and basic test automation tools/frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of API, UI, L2-L3 networking protocols, and system-level testing concepts.
- Knowledge of Gen AI Tools.
- Understanding of SDLC/STLC, quality metrics, and release validation practices.
