Assoc Software Engineer

Role Overview

As an Intern Software Engineer within our Technical Services Group, you will hold a hands-on coding role as a key member of a cross-functional agile team. You will gain experience in all aspects of our technical solutioning process from feature design, rapid prototyping, implementation, and deployment to maintenance and architectural improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional, agile development team.
• Contribute to the collective ownership and delivery of feature design, development and maintenance.
• Gain a professional understanding of project tracking and agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• 0 to 3 years' experience in a relevant software development role.
• Good understanding of OOO concepts, Data Structure and Algorithms.
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript language features, frameworks and libraries.
• Good grasp on Java backend technologies.
• Knowledge of Spring is a bonus.
• Some experience delivering great User Experiences is a bonus.
• Knowledge of/Experience using Testing Frameworks is a bonus.
• Some knowledge of Agile teams and methodologies.
• An understanding of the software development lifecycle and tools including Source Control, Rapid Prototyping, and Continuous Integration.
