4403 - Software Development Engineer-II (Finance - AI Engineering)

Role Overview

Every finance team runs on spreadsheets, tribal knowledge, and manual reconciliation between systems that were never meant to talk to each other. This is a build role for someone who wants to take a real, high-stakes function — the one that runs the company's numbers, forecasts, and capital decisions — and rebuild it from the ground up as a set of intelligent, autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Sit inside the finance function to understand real-world workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and build autonomous agents that pull data from multiple systems, reason over it, and produce decision-ready output.
• Own the full stack: data pipelines, integrations across ERP/CRM/finance systems, orchestration logic, and the AI layer.
• Make sharp build-vs-buy calls regarding code, existing tools, or LLMs.
• Ship fast in production environments where users depend on systems for actual financial decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience building AI agents (multi-step, tool-using, autonomous or semi-autonomous systems).
• Strong computer science fundamentals and clean system design instincts.
• Proficiency with the modern AI toolchain including LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, and prompt engineering.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and define problems in real-time.
• A default mindset toward automation over manual dashboarding.
