SDE Intern – AI & Voice Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for highly talented SDE Interns who are excited about building real-world AI products. You will work closely with experienced engineers on LLM-powered applications, voice agents, backend systems, APIs, and AI infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering internship with an opportunity to work on systems that move beyond prototypes into production.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI-powered voice and conversational applications.
• Work with LLMs, RAG, function calling, and AI agent frameworks.
• Develop backend APIs and services using Python and/or TypeScript.
• Integrate speech-to-text, text-to-speech, telephony, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Build workflow orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and observability components.
• Debug, test, and optimise AI systems for reliability, latency, and quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship production features.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / equivalent degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of DSA, OOP, databases, APIs, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Genuine interest in AI/ML, LLMs, voice AI, or backend engineering.
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn quickly.
• Candidates from top engineering colleges and universities preferred.
• Strong academic projects, GitHub projects, hackathons, competitive programming, or other proof-of-work will be highly valued.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to LLM APIs, RAG, AI agents, LangGraph, FastAPI, Node.js, or vector databases.
• Experience with conversational AI, speech technologies, or real-time systems.
• Open-source contributions or meaningful personal AI projects.
