Role Overview
MetLife is seeking a Software / Platform Engineer I to join our team in a hybrid capacity. As part of our New Frontier strategy, we are building an AI-enabled, people-centered future. We are looking for professionals to help us transform the next century in financial services by delivering scalable and responsive enterprise-level solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using JavaScript, Spring Boot, Microservices, MySQL, and React.
- Work on both server-side and client-side components to deliver scalable and responsive applications.
- Apply design principles and patterns in creating enterprise-level solutions.
- Implement unit tests as needed.
- Ensure adherence to established timelines.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in creating microservices using JavaScript and Spring Boot tech stack.
- Proven experience in full stack development.
