Role Overview
We are hiring a .NET Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of reliable, scalable, and secure business applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and REST-based services, along with a good understanding of software design, testing, and deployment practices. You will work closely with product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the .NET and C# ecosystem.
- Build scalable backend functionality using ASP.NET and related frameworks.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
- Work with relational databases and write efficient queries using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design application components that are reliable, reusable, and easy to maintain.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to application design decisions.
- Implement appropriate error handling, logging, validation, and security controls.
- Write automated unit tests and support test-driven development practices where applicable.
- Investigate application defects, production issues, and performance concerns.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with frontend developers on application and API integration.
- Participate in peer reviews and maintain development standards.
- Use Git for source-code management and team collaboration.
- Support application deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with cloud and DevOps teams on application delivery and infrastructure requirements.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Strong programming skills in C#.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET / .NET application development.
- Good understanding of REST API development and integration.
- Strong experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and common software design principles.
- Experience writing unit tests and debugging application issues.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software release processes.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
