Software Engineer(Python/Perl, Any database, Microsevices, Kubernetes)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly curious, detail-oriented Systems & Database Infrastructure Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges. In this role, you will design, optimize, and maintain resilient backend services and database infrastructure. We need a proactive engineer eager to build future-proof solutions, tackle deep system-level problems, and deliver production-ready software capable of powering mission-critical environments with zero downtime.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and maintain resilient backend services and database infrastructure.
• Develop system automation, tooling, and backend scripting.
• Build high-performance, resilient applications.
• Analyze processes, inspect system logs, diagnose resource bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
• Manage or interface with major relational or in-memory database systems.

Requirements

• Strong programming proficiency in Python and Perl for system automation and backend scripting.
• Hands-on experience developing with Java and C++.
• Deep familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, system architecture, and command-line navigation.
• Ability to troubleshoot system logs and resource bottlenecks (CPU, memory, disk I/O).
• Practical experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, GridGain, or Oracle TimesTen.
• Strong foundational understanding of SQL, schema design, index optimization, and transaction mechanics.
• Proficiency with Git workflows.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of database high availability and replication (e.g., PostgreSQL Streaming Replication).
• Experience integrating automated test and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
