IBM App Connect / IIB Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM App Connect / IIB Developer with 4–7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions within the Banking / Financial Services domain. This role involves creating scalable integration flows and connecting core banking systems, APIs, and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Develop integration flows using Message Flows, Compute Nodes, Mapping, Filter, Route, and other components.
• Integrate banking applications, core banking systems, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP web services and enterprise APIs.
• Work with MQ, HTTP, JMS, SOAP, REST, JDBC, and File-based integrations.
• Develop transformation and mapping logic using ESQL.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis in development, testing, and production environments.
• Optimize message flows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and/or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
• Strong knowledge of ESQL and message transformation.
• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ and message-based integration.
• Strong experience developing REST and SOAP APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with JDBC, HTTP, JMS, XML, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools is preferred.
• Mandatory experience in Banking or Financial Services projects.
