Flutter Developer Intern

Role Overview

PlayGG is India’s first “Going Out” gaming experiences platform. We bring together real-world entertainment, grassroots esports tournaments, and gaming commerce into a single mobile ecosystem. We are looking for a driven Flutter Developer Intern with strong hands-on experience in Flutter and Dart to help build, optimize, and ship production-grade features across the PlayGG mobile application.

Responsibilities

• Build smooth, responsive, and pixel-perfect UI components across diverse Android and iOS screen sizes.
• Implement robust state management, application business logic, and fluid custom animations.
• Integrate REST APIs for venue discovery, tournament registrations, pass ticketing, and commerce workflows.
• Implement local caching and secure storage.
• Integrate third-party SDKs, including payment gateways, maps, and analytics.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI rendering issues.
• Collaborate directly with the core engineering and product teams to ship features in an agile environment.
• Take ownership of features from development to production release.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Dart, including OOP, Futures, Streams, async/await, and error handling.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Flutter framework.
• Experience with at least one major state management solution such as Bloc/Cubit, Riverpod, Provider, or GetX.
• Proven experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with JSON serialization and parsing.
• Understanding of token-based authentication such as JWT/OAuth.
• Familiarity with local storage solutions such as Hive, SQLite, or SharedPreferences.
• Understanding of modular code structure and clean architecture principles.
• Good understanding of Git and GitHub collaborative workflows.
• A portfolio containing at least 1–2 complete and functional Flutter applications deployed on GitHub, Google Play Store, or TestFlight.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Firebase services such as FCM push notifications, Dynamic Links, and Crashlytics.
• Basic knowledge of native Android/iOS integration using method channels.
• Familiarity with map APIs and geolocation services.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations.
• Active interest in gaming, esports ecosystems, or consumer-tech products.
