Trainee - Product Engineer

Role Overview

Join Seclore, a Data Security Intelligence company, as a Trainee Product Engineer. You will be part of a team of superheroes safeguarding data for over 500 global enterprises. This role is designed for risk-takers and innovators who want to solve complex challenges in data security and build products that behave reliably across diverse, uncontrolled environments.

Responsibilities

• Own problems from inception to resolution, ensuring they are truly solved for the customer.
• Build and ship components of a security product that must function identically across thousands of machines.
• Design proof-of-concept methods and find failures before customers do.
• Investigate complex issues using log files and unfamiliar environments to determine root causes.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to increase engineering efficiency.
• Work across the entire engineering organization and engage in technical discussions with experienced peers.

Requirements

• Ability to work across the full stack, including interfaces, services, APIs, agents, and OS-level layers.
• Capacity to learn new technologies and domains rapidly and provide proof of self-driven learning.
• Strong analytical skills to read existing code and reason through symptoms and log files.
• An instinct for automation through scripting or tool building.
• AI-native approach: using AI for writing, testing, and debugging while understanding its limitations and internals (models, embeddings, agents).
• Strong communication skills to explain technical reasoning and decision-making processes.
• A results-oriented mindset focused on shipping completed, working projects.
