MERN Stack Developer - Trainee

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated MERN Stack Developer – Trainee who is passionate about web development and eager to build real-world applications using modern JavaScript technologies. As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced developers to learn, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build reusable and maintainable React.js components.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB for data modelling, queries, and database operations.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Understand and implement authentication, authorization, and basic application security.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Debug issues and troubleshoot application errors.
• Perform basic testing and participate in code reviews.
• Use Git/GitHub for source-code management and collaboration.
• Learn and follow software development best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
• Continuously learn new technologies and improve development skills.

Requirements

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic to good knowledge of React.js.
• Understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB and database concepts.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
• Willingness to learn and work on real-world projects.
• Recent graduates or candidates with a relevant degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with 0–1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
