Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated MERN Stack Developer – Trainee who is passionate about web development and eager to build real-world applications using modern JavaScript technologies. As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced developers to learn, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build reusable and maintainable React.js components.
- Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB for data modelling, queries, and database operations.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Understand and implement authentication, authorization, and basic application security.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Debug issues and troubleshoot application errors.
- Perform basic testing and participate in code reviews.
- Use Git/GitHub for source-code management and collaboration.
- Learn and follow software development best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
- Continuously learn new technologies and improve development skills.
Requirements
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic to good knowledge of React.js.
- Understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB and database concepts.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on real-world projects.
- Recent graduates or candidates with a relevant degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
