Custom Software Engineer

Role Overview

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Responsibilities

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects to maintain system reliability.
• Document software designs and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience with coding and debugging in multiple programming languages relevant to custom software solutions.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable software components.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and data exchange standards.
• Competence in problem-solving and optimizing software performance.
