Job Description
Role Overview
Advantal Technologies Ltd. is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team onsite in Prayagraj. This role focuses on managing Linux environments, containerization, and automating deployment workflows.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.).
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and security policies on Linux systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/updates.
- Deploy and manage Docker containers and images for efficient application delivery.
- Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.
- Handle version control operations using Git.
- Implement security best practices, including firewalls, SSH configurations, and system hardening.
- Work closely with development teams to enhance and streamline deployment workflows.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux server administration.
- Proficiency in Docker (containerization, networking, volume management, deployment).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Shell).
- Experience with Git for version control.
