Web Developer Internship (Unpaid)(Remote)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer Intern to join our remote team. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with other departments to design, develop, and maintain websites and web tools. You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects based on specific client needs and internal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites utilizing PHP-based CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), themes, and plugins.
• Write clean, responsive, and efficient HTML and CSS.
• Develop and maintain application code using both PHP and JavaScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into fully functional, live websites, managing both the deployment and post-launch maintenance.
• Write functional, maintainable, reusable, and secure code.
• Apply core Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated by clients, team members, or customers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of programming languages and technical terminology.
• Proficiency in at least one core programming language (PHP and/or JavaScript are highly preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conceptualize, process, and experiment with new ideas.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a reliable PC/laptop and a stable internet connection for remote work.
• Portfolio Requirement: Your resume must include a link to at least one completed project. (Experience with PHP & SQL is a significant advantage).
