Role Overview

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, offering end-to-end Engineering, IT and Business Solutions. We are looking for an experienced Android Application developer to join our team in Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver excellent customer service and explain technical details to customers.
• Work independently to complete assignments within given instructions and standard practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Android developer.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a solid understanding of Android application development.
• Experience with custom views, animations, transitions, and advanced UI rendering optimizations.
• In-depth understanding of the Android SDK and experience with various Android frameworks and libraries.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and Firebase services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), threading/concurrency, unit testing, and MVVM/BLoC architecture.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems, preferably Git.
