Role Overview

Join CipherSchools as a Full Stack Development Intern to design, build, and ship features across the MERN stack. You will tackle complex architectural bottlenecks, optimize platform performance, and integrate cutting-edge LLM-based features in a fast-moving engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features across the MERN stack.
• Leverage core problem-solving and algorithmic thinking to tackle complex architectural bottlenecks.
• Optimize platform performance and low-latency workflows using Redis.
• Architect resilient, event-driven, asynchronous data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Integrate LLM-based features into the product, including prompt design and model behavior tuning.
• Write clean, scalable, well-tested code aligned with scalable system design principles.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team in a fast-moving, in-office environment.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from design through deployment.
