Job Description
Role Overview
Join a global technology team as a Developer focused on building and optimizing workflow and data driven solutions using IBM BAW, Oracle SQL, and JavaScript. Contribute to scalable applications that support financial and operational processes with a hybrid work model day shift schedule and no travel requirement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust workflow solutions on IBM BAW that streamline complex business processes.
- Implement and optimize Oracle SQL queries, stored logic, and database structures.
- Develop responsive front end components using JavaScript.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Integrate IBM BAW workflows with backend systems and services.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following coding standards and version control practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Analyze production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment steps.
- Work closely with database administrators to tune queries and data models.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute deployments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automations.
- Apply secure coding practices and data protection guidelines.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and effort estimation.
- Engage with quality assurance teams to validate features.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Oracle SQL RDBMS to design schemas and write complex queries.
- Hands on experience with IBM BAW including workflow modeling and integration services.
- Practical JavaScript skills to build or enhance user interfaces.
- Experience in hybrid work environments.
- Experience in asset and wealth management domains is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) practices.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
