Role Overview
Crossing Infotech is offering a full-time remote internship opportunity for an aspiring Software Developer Intern to gain practical exposure to software development, programming, database management, debugging, version control, and application development practices. The internship is designed for candidates who want to strengthen their programming and software engineering skills through practical coding assignments, development projects, and structured project-based learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain basic software applications under guidance.
- Write clean, structured, and maintainable code using Python or Java.
- Apply programming concepts such as functions, classes, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Perform basic database operations using SQL.
- Debug code and troubleshoot common application issues.
- Participate in software development projects and coding assignments.
- Use Git for version control and basic project collaboration.
- Test application functionality and identify potential defects.
- Document technical work and development activities when required.
Requirements
- Students, graduates, and freshers interested in software development.
- Candidates from B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc Computer Science, Information Technology, or related backgrounds.
- Candidates with basic knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Individuals interested in software engineering, application development, or backend technologies.
- Candidates with strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Java.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Git or GitHub is an advantage.
- Understanding of software development life cycle concepts is a plus.
- Good analytical and debugging skills.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
