Software Mentor/Faculty Trainee

Role Overview

HI Labs is looking for a Software Mentor/Faculty Trainee who is passionate about software development and enjoys helping others learn. You will work with students and the academic team to help learners understand programming, computer science fundamentals, software development concepts, assignments, and projects. This role is designed for those who want to develop strong skills in both software engineering and technical mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting technical learning sessions for students.
• Explain programming and computer science concepts using simple examples.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions under the guidance of the academic team.
• Help students with assignments, exercises, and programming problems.
• Review student code and provide constructive feedback.
• Guide students through small software development projects.
• Prepare basic exercises, assignments, and revision materials.
• Track student progress and identify areas where additional support is required.
• Collaborate with the academic team to improve learning materials.

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or MCA.
• 0–2 years of experience (Freshers and recent graduates are welcome).
• Strong technical fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication ability and a genuine interest in mentoring.
