Website Developer Intern / Freelancer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and creative Website Developer Intern / Freelancer who has a strong interest in website design and development. The candidate should have knowledge of coding, responsive website development, UI/UX principles, and the ability to create, update, maintain, and improve professional websites. The role offers a structured path from a training internship to a paid internship, with freelance opportunities for experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Convert design concepts into functional websites and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Identify and fix website bugs, errors, and performance issues.
• Assist with website hosting, domain, SSL, and basic server-related tasks.
• Work with databases and backend technologies when required.
• Implement basic SEO-friendly practices and optimize for speed and mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate third-party tools, plugins, APIs, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and management teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive web design and frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Basic understanding of backend languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.js.
• Basic database knowledge, such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred.
• Understanding of domain, hosting, cPanel, and SSL certificates.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
