Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

QuizAttempt is a school platform used by 200+ teachers and 5,000+ students. We are looking for a full-stack intern to work across both backend and frontend. You will work on the actual QuizAttempt product, building new features for teachers, students, parents, and schools, and implementing AI/LLM features.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for teachers, students, parents, and schools
• Build backend APIs using Java 21 and Spring Boot with PostgreSQL
• Develop frontend screens using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Implement AI/LLM features
• Perform tests, bug fixes, and improvements to existing features

Requirements

• Good programming fundamentals with logical thinking
• Comfort with Java or a willingness to learn it
• Some experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
• Ability to read existing code and understand how it works
• Ability to work independently and reason clearly
• Commitment of 15+ hours per week
