Frappe Developer (1-3 yrs experience)

Role Overview

You'll build and extend modules across our Frappe-based platform: DocTypes, workflows, server-side logic, and the APIs that power our React front end. You'll pick up real product features from week one and work directly on the product.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom Frappe apps: DocTypes, controllers, hooks, scheduled and background jobs
• Write and consume REST APIs used by our front end and third-party integrations
• Build report views, dashboards, and list customizations for internal and customer-facing users
• Work on integrations with external systems: claims, eligibility, payments, and pharmacy management systems
• Debug production issues, trace root causes, and ship fixes with tests
• Write clear commits and documentation so the next person can pick up your work

Requirements

• 1+ years building on the Frappe Framework or ERPNext in a production environment
• Strong Python fundamentals
• Solid grasp of Frappe's DocType model, permissions, and server scripts
• React + TypeScript, consuming Frappe APIs from a custom front end (Redux or similar state management, component library, modern build tooling)
• MariaDB or MySQL, comfortable writing and reading non-trivial queries
• Git-based workflow, code review as a normal habit

Nice to Have

• Redis, background workers, or queue tuning
• Multi-tenant or multi-site Frappe deployments
• Exposure to healthcare, billing, insurance, RCM, or any regulated data domain
• AWS, CI/CD, containerized deployments
