Robotics Hardware Engineering Intern

Role Overview

We build training data to train the next generation of Vision Language Actions (VLA) and World Foundation Models (WFMs). This role is about ownership, where you build hardware systems fast, working on real, messy, failure-prone systems that need to work reliably. You will move quickly from idea to prototype, iterate under pressure, and make pragmatic engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Pick sensors, read datasheets, wire components, and iterate on hardware designs.
• Integrate sensors with microcontrollers and single-board computers.
• Bring up systems from scratch and debug across hardware and software boundaries.
• Handle basic 3D design to make systems usable in the real world.
• Move from idea to prototype rapidly and fix hardware issues repeatedly.

Requirements

• Comfortable reading datasheets and debugging hardware issues.
• Ability to work through ambiguity without step-by-step guidance.
• Proven experience building real things like robots, IoT systems, or embedded projects.
• Resilience and a hands-on approach to solving complex engineering problems.
