AI Engineer Intern

Role Overview

Shodh AI is a deep-tech company building foundational AI systems for science and industry. Our work spans large-scale neural networks, enterprise intelligence, knowledge systems, and AI infrastructure that connects complex organizational data to reliable, actionable insights. You’ll work on real-world problems involving LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, semantic search, agentic workflows, and structured enterprise data.

Responsibilities

• Improving ingestion and retrieval pipelines
• Evaluating answer quality
• Reducing hallucinations
• Building scalable AI features

Requirements

• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompting, RAG, or agent frameworks
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and backend systems
• Curiosity, ownership, and comfort solving ambiguous problems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Neo4j, Salesforce, Gemini, FastAPI, or evaluation pipelines
