IT Infrastructure Engineer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Infrastructure Engineer Intern to join our IT Infrastructure and Technology team. The candidate will receive hands-on exposure to server administration, virtualization, networking, endpoint support, operating systems, monitoring, cybersecurity, backups, databases, application platforms, and infrastructure operations. The candidate must also have a basic understanding of Frontend, Backend, and Full-Stack development, as the role involves supporting the infrastructure on which business applications and software platforms operate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining on-premises physical servers and virtual machines.
• Support virtualization environments and VM lifecycle management, including creation, configuration, and decommissioning.
• Assist with IP allocation, network configuration, and troubleshooting switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Administer Linux, Windows, and macOS environments, including patching and performance troubleshooting.
• Provide first-level technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist in deploying and managing Seqrite Antivirus and Endpoint Security.
• Monitor infrastructure using Zabbix, Uptime Monitoring, Grafana, and SigNoz.
• Assist with firewall configuration, monitoring, and VPN configuration.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Frontend, Backend, and Full-Stack development.
• Interest in building a career in Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, Network Administration, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or IT Operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
