Junior Product Designer

Role Overview

The purpose of this role is to support the lead designer by handling drawing and file work, allowing the lead to focus on design ideas, USH, and clients. You will be responsible for building 3D models, creating production drawings, and managing project documentation to ensure a seamless workflow from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Build full Level B 3D models including proper shapes, joints, hardware, and wiring.
• Create complete sets of production drawings including 2D drawings, section views, assembly drawings, and DXF files.
• Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM), render files, and version control for every project.
• Manage project file organization on the company drive with correct naming and approval records.
• Coordinate sample work with the workshop, following up on progress and reporting issues.
• Develop Level A 3D models and presentation renders based on provided sketches.
• Execute standard (1B) designs using existing company standards.
• Collect and present vendor and production queries regarding materials and parts.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Fusion 360.
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Faridabad, Haryana.
• Strong attention to detail regarding wall thickness, joints, key sizes, and layers.
