Role Overview
As a QA Testing Intern, you will work closely with the development team to identify bugs, verify new features, test application workflows, and improve the overall quality and reliability of SportSphere. This role provides practical exposure to software QA, involving testing real product features, documenting issues, performing regression testing, and collaborating with developers to verify fixes.
Responsibilities
- Performing manual testing of the SportSphere application.
- Testing new features and existing functionality.
- Creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Performing functional, regression, UI/UX, and usability testing.
- Testing critical user workflows including registration, login, OTP verification, venue discovery, booking, and payments.
- Identifying, reproducing, documenting, and tracking bugs with clear steps, expected/actual results, and severity.
- Performing regression testing after bugs are fixed.
- Testing the application across different Android devices.
- Verifying API responses when required.
- Collaborating with developers to understand and verify bug fixes.
- Maintaining test cases, testing documentation, and test reports.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Basic understanding of bug life cycle, severity, and priority.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to communicate software issues clearly.
- Basic knowledge of mobile and/or web application testing.
- Good written communication skills.
- Must have an Android mobile phone for application testing.
