WordPress Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress Developer Intern to join our web development team at WebSenor in Udaipur. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and website development, along with a willingness to learn and work on real-world websites and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive websites using WordPress.
• Install, configure, and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert design concepts and layouts into functional WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
• Create and modify web pages according to project requirements.
• Integrate and configure WordPress plugins and third-party tools.
• Assist in developing reusable website components and templates.
• Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across major browsers and devices.
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and layout problems.
• Perform basic website maintenance, updates, backups, and content changes.
• Optimize websites for performance, usability, and basic SEO.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement UI/UX requirements.
• Test websites before deployment and identify functional or visual issues.
• Learn and follow development best practices, coding standards, and version-control practices.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of WordPress CMS.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with responsive web design.
• Basic understanding of PHP.
• Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript is preferred.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
• Bachelor's degree / diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
