Backend Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our development team. This opportunity is ideal for freshers who want to gain practical experience in backend development, API development, databases, debugging, and real-world software projects. The selected candidate will work closely with developers to build, maintain, test, and improve backend applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications and services
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Work with databases and perform CRUD operations
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
• Debug and troubleshoot backend issues
• Implement authentication and authorization where required
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
• Test APIs and backend functionality
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs and backend workflows

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of backend development
• Good understanding of at least one backend technology such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods
• Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of CRUD operations
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Basic understanding of authentication and authorization
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work on real-world projects
