Data Science & Engineering Intern

Role Overview

WSAudiology is looking to hire 4 interns in Hyderabad to support our data and digital product initiatives. This will be one internship cohort, and interns will be allocated internally to data engineering, data analysis, or data science work based on skills and project needs. This internship offers hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, data science fundamentals, and AI-assisted analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world projects with guidance from experienced developers and analysts.
• Support data science tasks such as exploratory analysis, feature preparation, hypothesis testing, and pattern detection.
• Assist with simple experimentation, model-assisted analysis, and interpretation of results using Python and notebooks.
• Support data engineering tasks such as pipeline development, data ingestion, validation, transformation, and issue resolution.
• Support data analysis tasks such as reporting, dashboarding, trend analysis, and insight generation.
• Assist with documentation, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of data products and analytical outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data, engineering, and business functions.
• Gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Git, VS Code, and related tools.

Requirements

• ME / MTech / BE / BTech in CSE with Data Science or an equivalent technical degree.
• Strong academic background with a minimum of 70% or CGPA 7.0+.
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational data concepts.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Eagerness to learn Databricks, Power BI, and related tools quickly.
• Exposure to Azure Cloud services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to Power BI, .NET APIs, or ReactJS for simple internal dashboards.
