Custom Software Engineer

Role Overview

Responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of automotive software applications, digital products, and enterprise platforms through manual and automated testing. Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications using modern frameworks and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing software components to improve performance and reliability.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and create test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Conduct API testing and backend validation.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and SQL.
