Custom Software Engineer

Role Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with teams to apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions delivered are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the unique requirements of the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and specifications to define test goals and test conditions.
• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios for new features and regression testing.
• Maintain, improve, and monitor automated regression tests using Python.
• Design, develop, and execute automated API tests to ensure functionality and reliability of backend services.
• Maintain, improve, and execute load and performance tests using Gatling.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams in a DevTestOps approach.
• Document test execution results and identify, analyze, retest and track defects.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize automated testing processes.
