Tech Associate - Software Engineering

Role Overview

ACSI is looking for passionate and curious enthusiastic and tech-savvy IT students or recent graduates to join our Technology team as Tech Associate - Software Engineers. ACS International India Pvt Ltd. (ACS-I India) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACS International Ltd, USA and a part of the American Chemical Society. ACS-I India represent products and services provided by ACS divisions, including Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) to the world’s most important scientific companies, government organizations, global patent offices and academic institutions to promote research and discovery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test software applications.
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance your skills and contribute to the team.
• Gain proficiency in developing structured programs.
• Understand the technical platform/module for the assigned assignment, including standards and user interfaces. Gain a broad-level understanding of the module/system to which you are assigned.
• Get trained in various phases of software development life cycles and scale up to the expectations of the project team in varied roles.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, manager to ensure alignment and understanding of project requirements.
• Adapt to changing project requirements, timelines, and priorities with a positive attitude.
• Take on challenges and work towards finding innovative solutions to technical problems.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure proper documentation of code and processes.
• Assist in the maintenance and support of existing software applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to group discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Actively participate in organizational activities related to your role.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/BCA/B.Sc (CS/IT) Fresh Graduates
• Reporting Skills: Ability to create detailed and accurate reports, demonstrating strong attention to detail and clarity.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking to interpret data, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
