Role Overview

The Full Stack AI Data Science Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting data-driven product and service development. The intern will assist in building and evaluating statistical and machine learning models, while collaborating with engineers to integrate AI components into web or software applications.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data.
• Assisting in building and evaluating statistical and machine learning models.
• Collaborating with engineers on integrating AI components into web or software applications.
• Preparing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.
• Writing modular code and contributing to documentation.
• Experimenting with new tools and frameworks.
• Participating in code reviews and team meetings.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Solid foundation in statistics and statistical reasoning.
• Core data science skills, including familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows.
• Data analytics and data analysis capabilities with experience in structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with Python or R and basic experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of web or software development fundamentals.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
