Unreal Engine Intern(Blueprint/C++/Level/Cinematic)

Role Overview

Akiyam Solutions is seeking a remote Unreal Engine Intern to support the development of gameplay features, level design, and cinematic sequences. You will work closely with designers, artists, and programmers to implement mechanics, polish environments, and ensure high-quality player experiences across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop gameplay features using Blueprints and C++.
• Implement and debug mechanics, interactions, and systems within Unreal Engine.
• Create and polish levels, including lighting, set dressing, and environment design.
• Contribute to cinematic sequences, camera setups, and in-engine cutscenes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate assets and optimize performance.
• Assist with documentation, version control, and basic QA testing.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Unreal Engine with hands-on experience in Blueprints and basic C++ scripting.
• Ability to design and iterate on levels, including layout, pacing, and environment storytelling.
• Interest or experience in cinematic design, camera work, and sequencing.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Perforce.
• Knowledge of 3D concepts including assets, materials, lighting, and physics.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Animation, or a related field.
