Role Overview
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance C++ applications and modules. Work on performance-critical, low-latency, and high-throughput systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance C++ applications and modules.
- Work on performance-critical, low-latency, and high-throughput systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Business Analysts) to deliver robust solutions.
- Debug, profile, and optimize existing applications for speed and memory efficiency.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Document technical designs and maintain coding best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in C++ (C++11/14/17) application development.
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and memory management.
- Experience developing and deploying on Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency with STL, Boost, and object-oriented design principles.
- Good understanding of debugging tools (gdb) and performance profiling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in the trading/financial domain — order management systems (OMS), market data feed handlers, exchange connectivity, or algorithmic trading platforms.
- Knowledge of the FIX protocol and/or exchange APIs.
- Experience building low-latency, real-time systems.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up development, code review, and debugging.
