Laravel & PHP Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong hands-on experience in Laravel and WordPress to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling web applications and CMS-based solutions for our clients and internal products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel (REST APIs, modules, packages)
• Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and REST API integrations
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable PHP code following MVC patterns
• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
• Collaborate with frontend developers on React/Next.js or Blade-based UIs
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Manage deployments on Linux servers (Apache/Nginx) and cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean)
• Follow security best practices including authentication, data validation, and SQL injection prevention

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with PHP 8.x and Laravel framework
• Strong knowledge of WordPress (custom post types, hooks, WP REST API, ACF)
• Proficient in MySQL schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend integration
• Experience with REST API design and consumption
