Junior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Bluetris Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of DevOps practices, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Linux, containers, and automation. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to build their career in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application build and deployment.
• Work with development teams to automate application deployment processes.
• Manage and monitor basic cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure.
• Work with Linux servers, system configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Create and manage Docker containers and Docker images.
• Assist in deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Git/GitHub for source code management and version control.
• Assist in infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
• Write basic Shell/Bash or Python scripts for automation and routine tasks.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and assist in resolving issues.
• Troubleshoot deployment, server, networking, and configuration-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for deployments, configurations, and procedures.
• Follow DevOps best practices related to security, reliability, and automation.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and SDLC.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals.
• Hands-on knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Basic understanding of AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of Terraform or any Infrastructure as Code tool is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes is preferred.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash/Shell or Python.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP, DNS, ports, HTTP/HTTPS, and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and willingness to learn.

• Familiarity with YAML and configuration files.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
