Role Overview

BOA XR is a deep-tech spatial computing studio building the Geometric Intelligence Engine — a system that digitizes physical objects and reasons about how they fit within constrained volumes. This isn't standard object detection. It's genuine volumetric analysis, and it's shipping in a live product.

Responsibilities

• Blind Measurement: use depth/stereo CV to generate an accurate bounding box (L×W×H) for any object on a surface, with zero prior training on that object class
• Constraint Solving: write an algorithm that takes variable 3D dimensions and computes the densest possible arrangement within a fixed volume
• State Comparison: compare a calculated ideal state against the observed physical state to detect geometric deviations

Requirements

• Strong Python and/or C++
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV and PCL
• Solid grounding in combinatorial optimization and computational geometry
• Comfort moving from an ambiguous problem statement to a working system
