Job Description
Role Overview
As a Production Support Software Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining system stability, driving root cause analysis for critical incidents, and advocating for SRE practices to automate manual toil and ensure seamless deployments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategies using observability tools to proactively identify bottlenecks and anomalies.
- Drive deep dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical P1/P2 incidents and collaborate with development teams for permanent fixes.
- Advocate for SRE practices and drive automation initiatives such as auto-remediation scripts and automated health checks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to support seamless deployments, including blue/green and canary releases.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate multiple technologies including AWS, Openshift, Node JS, Python, Java, and Mongo DB.
- Experience in incident management and production support environments.
