Job Description
Role Overview
Cisco Secure Workload is seeking a junior UI/Full Stack developer to assist in developing features for policy, vulnerability management, and more. You will work within the Isovalent team, which builds open-source software and enterprise solutions for modern cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships and collaborate effectively with your team.
- Collaborate on projects and work on small-to-medium features from technical design through completion.
- Apply understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
- Participate in the delivery of technical design features with guidance.
- Write functional clean code, unit tests, and E2E tests.
- Assist in code reviews and address feedback.
- Monitor and triage incident reports and participate in postmortems.
- Estimate time to complete assignments and communicate status and blockers.
Requirements
- Bachelors + 2 years of related experience OR Masters + 0 years of related experience.
- Basic knowledge of development theories, principles, and concepts.
- Exposure to current technologies through coursework or internship.
- Experience in Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience in React, Angular, or similar technology.
