IT Support Engineer

Role Overview

Clove Technologies is looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer / Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Visakhapatnam. This role is ideal for professionals with 0–1 years of experience who have a strong foundation in IT support, desktop troubleshooting, Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, system administration, and basic DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, desktop, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist with Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and access management.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP issues.
• Assist in managing and maintaining Linux and Windows servers.
• Support basic CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Work with Git/GitHub/GitLab for source-code and version control.
• Gain hands-on exposure to Docker and containerized applications.
• Assist with basic cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS / Azure.
• Support automation of repetitive IT and deployment tasks using basic scripting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, System Administration, DevOps, or a related role.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work in an on-site IT environment.
